After talking with a few at moms night out last month, this was brought up. Some of the blogs only list coupon dates not the source. For instance 3/27--with no RP, SS..etc. It makes thing a little more time consuming with having to search for those coupons. So to make it more steamline being sure to list those would make it easier, in my opinion.

Girls, throw my name in the hat for the $100 Giveaway!

My two cents on the Grocery Gathering: it's a GREAT resource! I try hard to promote it at The New Frugal Mom because it's helps us all save time as well as money.

One thing you may want to consider adding is a dedicated button (a smaller version of the logo?)/link list on your sidebar to take everyone directly to that weeks GG list and also listing underneath that button the stores your GG features.

Just an idea!

Thanks girls!

Love the Grocery Gathering. Thanks for all the info.

I guess my only suggestion is when a deal corresponds with an ad, I would love the page number of the ad so I don't have to hunt for it. That's it.

I am pretty new to this whole blogging business and at times all the great info is overwhelming! I just want to say thanks for putting all of this together. I have a pretty big family and I'm learning lots of great tips for saving money.

I absolutely LOVE Grocery Gathering! I have saved so much money by menu planning and couponing. It is so nice to be able to know what I am cooking and when. Many times, I will have dinner cooked and ready to go before lunch. Thanks! ps726@bellsouth.net

I recently started couponing and CVSing due to all of the great blogs out there that are giving me advice about it. Last week Wal-Mart owed me $0.15 at the end of my transaction and you could have knocked the cashier over with a feather. I can't wait to shock them again this month. This is so fun!! It kills me that I have been paying full price for stuff for so long. Ugh!!

I agree completely with Marianne about adding a link on the side with the GG listed. Also, when I go on each page of the GG, sometimes I'll be looking at (for example) Hen House, the top link will say something like it's from January, the date on the main page will say it's for this week, but the date on the deal page will say it was from last week. Makes my head go spinning!

Also, since a lot of us are in the KC area, what are your thoughts on doing a monthly swap? I know some of us CVSers can still roll our ECBs and get diapers, but don't have kids. While other moms are picking up makeup deals that I want. Etc. Something to get us all out of the house -- and stores!

I would suggest clearer classifications of stores into broad and then narrow categories. Great job so far!

I am very new to browsing these blogs, but I LOVE them. I really appreciate it when the more experienced deal shoppers point out the advertised deals that aren't so great.Teresa at "A Life at Home" pointed out that just because it is but one get one free, it isn't necessiarly a good deal because they inflate the price. Little tips like that help alot.

I also enjoy going to "Why Ask Why". Carlie opened my eyes to Walgreens P&G register rewards for this week. Had I not read her blog on Sunday, I would have missed out on ALOT!!!

Sign me up for that give away please!!!

I check out the Grocery Gathering many times a week! I have jumped on board with the CVS deals, and am still trying to figure out what I can do to affect my grocery bill.. We don't have many of the stores that are featured here, but I try to use them to jumpstart my own scenarios about the stores I DO have.

Thanks a lot ! And -- of course -- you can include me in your $100 giveaway!!!

My suggestion is multi-part; Have a normal home page with current stories, ect. but have all Grocery stores accessible by tabs (like Sisterly Savings Site). Maybe not on tab per store, but one tab for A-D one for E-H, ect. Or one tab for Monday gathering, one for Thursday, And how about bumping up the dates? Thursday gathering for Albertsons is kind of late when the ad comes out on tuesday and most deals are sell out by wednesday.
I also would like to volunteer to do Albertsons Pacific NW stores (Washington) I have hosted it in the past a few times.
Anyway, Awesome site, thanks!

Oh, yes, the suggestion to cite ad page numbers is a good one. I forgot about that -- but always want the page numbers when I'm planning my trips (especially Walgreen's, because you have to know the page number to find the in-ad coupons).

I would like to see deals from the GIANT(PA)/Martins store

Hey ladies - I think you do a fantastic job and this grocery gathering is a much needed FREE resource!

The only suggestion I would have is to possibly add a third column. I personally think those are nice to have around and you could put more of your top posts in the third column as resources for people to click on immediately.

And, it might be nice to have a standard format for all bloggers participating in the grocery gathering to post - content wise (with coupon dates/sources/etc) AND formatting wise. Then again, it is the creative freedom for all bloggers and I wouldn't want to discourage that!

I stop by a couple times a week to check out the Grocery Gathering.

With getting ready to go on vacation, I've been looking for Bi-Lo and Piggly Wiggly sales.

I'd like to have grocery deals from Giant (different from Giant PA or Giant Eagle) - sorry all of those Giant grocery store names are confusing. Thanks!

I love the idea of GG, but only my most expensive store (HyVee) is listed. I'd love to see Fareway and Dahl's!

This site just keeps getting better and better!! I am enjoying it immensely! Have you thought about allowing people to subscribe by e-mail? I would love to be able to subscribe and then just get the stores I want to read about.

Thanks for entering me in the contest! Keep up the great work; I'm saving money thanks to you!

I can't think of a single suggestion, just a thank-you for all the info you provide!

I love the whole idea of this site. I'm working my way out of debt, so all these savings are a Godsend.

I don't know enough yet to suggest changes - I'm still learning. But I do appreciate all the work that goes into gathering the coupon and rebate information in one place to delight us all!

God bless and keep up the good work.

How about a whole new blog called "Grocery Gathering"?

- For those bloggers contributing, just send them an invitation to be a guest blogger. It is quick and simple to do.
- Come up with a plan for your advertising. Each contributor gets a say. Draw straws etc.
- Come up with a consistant set of labels for every blogger to use.
- Add tutorials, abbreviation lists etc.
- Collectively decide if you are going to go the extra mile to list what coupon flyer/page number the coupons came from or not. I know this is a lot of work. Folks could start their own spread sheet and track their own coupons.

You ladies go far above and beyond what I think I could do and still maintain a life. I do what I can on my blog to bring great deals to my readers but the real truth is that my blog is not a money maker. I admire all of you for the extreme amount of time it must take to pull your posts together.

If you need any help, I'll try but I won't be available until the middle of June. My daughter is getting married and I am not ready to commit to anything.
